Best Sports Bars to Watch University of Miami Football

There’s no shortage of places to catch Canes football in Miami but we’d thought we’d narrow down your choices as to where we think are the best places you should catch the green and orange.  You’ll have a good time at these places whether you’re cheering on our city’s pride and joy or rooting for the away team (some of us are Gators fans too).

Brother Jimmy’s BBQ
It helps your reputation as a sports bar to be owned by three NFL players, as is the case for this Mary Brickell sports spot. Watch the game on over 20+ while you munch on some of the best BBQ in the Miami. In addition, this spot features some of the best happy hour for football games we’ve seen: $5 Bacardi Oak & Coke’s and $10 “Big Gulp” Oak & Coke’s for all football games. During every college game day, they also offer half-price wings, $3 drafts and $12 pitchers of Miller Lite drafts from 12pm – 6pm.
900 S Miami Ave, Miami, 33130,

Sports Grill
While Sports Grill in South Miami may not be the flashiest sports bar in Miami, but we’d like to think of this spot as “Ol’ Reliable” on our list; good food, reasonable prices, nice service and and flat screens galore makes this spot a no-brainer when you can’t decide where to go but don’t want to go to a national chain restaurant.
1559 Sunset Dr, Miami, 33143,

Sandbar Sports Grill
The nautically-themed sports bar has been known to get packed during game days (especially UM football) and with good reason. Located in the heart of Coconut Grove, this centrally-located spot’s large collection of TVs and projection screens means you won’t miss a minute of the game no matter what direction you look and the cheap prices (including happy hour on food and drinks) won’t break the bank.
3064 Grand Ave, Miami, 33133,

Finnegan’s River
This spot is our pick for where to head to root on your favorite teams and have a wild party at the same time. Set alongside the Miami river with amazing views of downtown Miami and Brickell, you can choose to watch the game inside or head outside to cool down in the bar’s spacious pool and wave at passing cargo boats and yachts.
401 SW 3rd Ave, Miami, FL 33130,

Fritz & Franz Beirhaus
This outdoor biergarten is famous for its block parties that bring in hundreds of locals who don’t want sacrifice quality taste when they’re going out on the town. While it may not be the most affordable choice, here you can enjoy genuine German cuisine like Berner Würstel while you sip on beers that the country is famous for (and watch the game, of course).
60 Merrick Way, Coral Gables, 33134,

Scully’s Tavern
This sports bar may not have a TV hanging from every surface like some places do but that doesn’t make it a real sports bar. This spot is known for being a favorite by UM football fans of all kinds, particularly because of its fantastic bar food that has been featured on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.
