Are you an A-Lister?

If you thought the housewives were desperate, wait ’til you meet the houseboys! Meet the boys (and I use that term loosely) of The A-List of New York.

The A-List is the latest reality show on the Logo channel that follows members of New York’s gay elite plus their families, best girlfriends, and pocket dogs as they navigate being fabulous in the city. Follow their tangled friendships, rivalries and aspirations as they hop from benefit to beach house to pied-a-terre, dropping serious coin on toys for grown ups all along the way. From the producers of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The A-List explores the excess and envy of a new population, taking its rightful place alongside the greatest of guilty pleasure television.

Who’s on the list? Here’s the roll of the fabulous and almost famous:

Austin: HIs claim to fame was his short lived relationship with with designer Marc Jacobs.

Derek: This southern bell works in model management and werks the party circuit looking the (right) rich man who can “match” his lifestyle.

Mike Ruiz: Watch the celeb photographer who’s been on countless America’s Next Top Model and RuPaul’s Drag Race seasons rubs elbows with his celebrity subjects.

Reichen Lehmkuhl:  After winning The Amazing Race with his boyfriend, he dumped him and started dating Lance Bass. He  broke up with Bass and now is climbing the off-Broadway ladder while dating fellow A-Lister Rodiney.

Rodiney: Yeah, that’s the way you spell his name, this Brazilian model has called Miami and L.A. his home and now is embarking on taking over New York City with his boyfriend Reichen by his side. Ahhh, Reichen and Rodiney, sounds so cute (let’s see if their relationship survives the season).

Ryan: This “beauty expert” is a salon owner who is building a lifestyle empire. Ryan is legally married to his partner and is pursuing the next phase of the relationship (children).

The A-List New York premieres October 4 at 10 p.m. on the Logo channel.
