Unscripted in Bal Habour

Unscripted, a Bal Harbour Creative Project, is hosting New York-based artist David Brooks in conversation with Meredith Johnson of the renowned New York public art organization Creative Time. Brooks’ work investigates how cultural concerns and nature are connected. The pair’s presentation on spaces, species, and situations starts at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14 at the Sea View Hotel, 9909 Collins Ave., Bal Harbour. On Location 

ArtCenter/South Florida continues its series “On Location with Dimensions Variable” with an exhibition including Nellie Appleby, Allison Matherly, and Cristina Lei Rodriguez at the Richard Shack Gallery, 800 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach. Dimensions Variable directors Adler Guerrier, Leyden Rodriguez-Cassanova and Frances Trombly are developing site-specific work during their residency at ArtCenter’s Project 924, 924 Lincoln Rd. Film night at the Wolfsonian
