More than 170 YoungArts finalists in the visual, literary, design and performing arts converge with master teachers and mentors at various locations for special performances and an exhibition. Tea and Art History
NSU Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale announces a monthly “Tea and Art History” series in early 2015. Participants will enjoy traditional afternoon tea while exploring masterpieces by Botticelli, Da Vinci, Caravaggio, Manet, Monet, Picasso, Pollock, Adams, Stieglitz and Liebovitz with the museum’s Sunny Kaufman Senior Curator Dr. Barbara Buhler Lynes. Tea and Art History will take place Jan. 7, Feb. 4 and Mar. 4 from 2:30 – 4 p.m. Admission is $32 per person and $25 for museum members at the Couples/Family level and above. Artist Eileen Powell’s solo exhibition titled “Everglades Impressions” is on display at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center Gallery at Everglades National Park through the end of December.
