ArtCenter/South Florida is currently accepting applications for its Studio Residency Program, in which artists are granted partially subsidized studio workspaces appropriate for visual artists working in most mediums at ArtCenter’s campus located on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach for up to two years. The Bakehouse Art Complex is showcasing new artists in residence at the Wynwood facility. Featured artists include: Dana Donaty, Beatriz Calderon, Alex Heria, Dan Schneiger, Jose Pita Vazquez, Salvador Zarate, Monica Travis, and Monique Lazard. Spanning the realms of multiple media, each artist has chosen to work outside of their comfort level and produce new work for this exhibit. “Recently Acquired” is on view in the Audrey Love Gallery through July 31. Student-Teacher Show in Prague
Miles Laventhall, an instructor at the Boca Raton Museum Art School, was invited to visit Prague by the U.S. Cultural Attaché Sherry Keneson-Hall to exhibit his work alongside his student’s at the House of National Minorities in Prague.
