Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera
Masterworks by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, two of the most celebrated artists of the early 20th century, will be on view in a group exhibition of 75 works at NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale, 1 E. Las Olas Blvd., from Thursday, Feb. 26 through May 31. “Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera from the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Collection & 20th Century Mexican art from the Stanley and Pearl Goodman Collection” showcases the rich artistic traditions of Mexico including paintings, sculptures, and works on paper by influential Mexican artists involved in “Mexican Modernism.” The opening reception is Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 7 – 9 p.m. An art talk with the Goodmans on Latin American art with Dr. Salomon Grimberg is Friday, March 27 at 6 p.m. The Goodmans will share their perspective as collectors on Sunday, April 26 at 2 p.m. RSVP required for special events: call 954-262-0204 or email email@example.com. Meka Jean: Recovery
