Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to the Arsht Center with its Revelations and more modern dance masterpieces. CUBAN CLASSICAL BALLET
The Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami performs the ballet world’s Latin favorite, Marius Petipa’s comic ballet Don Quixote, this weekend starring two of Cuba’s best dancer exports, Lorena Feijoo (currently a principal dancer with San Francisco Ballet) and Rolando Sarabia (a principal at Miami City Ballet).

MISO AT THE ICE PALACE
The Miami Symphony Orchestra hosts its annual gala which will feature a cocktail reception, an intimate orchestral performance, dinner and raffles. Meet and greet with musicians, civic leaders, Maestro Eduardo Marturet and designer Carolina Herrera. DJ Irie, resident DJ for the Miami Heat, will join MISO for an after dinner concert.

SoBe ARTS AT KRUSEVILLE
SoBe Arts hosts a fundraiser to help in its mission to provide top-quality arts instruction to children, teens, and adults, including hundreds of at-risk youth. See a performance by the SoBe Arts Youth Chamber Ensemble and get a first hand look at the work the institute does with kids. Also enjoy performances by classical guitarist and SoBe Arts professor Carl Ferrari and virtuoso violinist Luis Fernandez. There will be hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and music from DJ Vidal.

See the future stars of the ballet world as they take the stage to perform in Miami City Ballet School’s (MCB School) Student Showcase. MCB School’s advanced students will perform exciting and challenging works from the Company’s repertoire.
