A weekend of fashion with models, firefighters hitting the runways

This weekend fashionistas can enjoy a two days of Fall fashion. The Town Center in Boca Raton is featuring runway shows and designer competitions with the hottest looks for Fall.  All the events are free and open to the public. On Friday, Sept. 28, at 7:30 p.m. models will take the catwalk in donning clothing from the mall’s retailers. See looks from stores like Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus,  Anne Fontaine, Anthropologie and CH Carolina Herrera. On Saturday, Sept. 29, at noon, watch designers battle it out in a competition called Design Wars. At 1 p.m., Nordstrom will debut their own fashion show, followed by a 3 p.m. show with the gentlemen of the 2013 South Florida Firefighters Calendar. The special guest models will be strutting down the runway donning duds from shops like Men’s Wearhouse & Tux. The event takes place at the mall’s center court. No RSVP is necessary.
