Free events featuring art and music abound this weekend. Here are the highlights:

Works of Art

Art enthusiasts have two free events to choose from on Friday, one in Little Havana and the other in Miami Beach, and a third event in Wynwood on Saturday.

In Little Havana, the galleries along Calle Ocho (Southwest Eighth Street) between 12th and 17th avenues will be open until 11 pm. One can see paintings, photography, sculpture, mixed media and contemporary pieces.

In Miami Beach, The Wolfsonian museum offers free admission and free tours of its permanent collections or temporary exhibitions. Free music is usually a part of this event, too.

Wynwood’s art walk includes art, street performers, music and food trucks.

Works of Music
