Helmed by Creative Director Riccardo Tisci, the boutique joins an already stellar lineup of luxe stores such as Cartier, Fend and Pucci to name a few. Without further ado, here are 5 facts about the freshly minted Givenchy boutique:
1) Parlez Vous Francais?
The new boutique pulls inspiration from the brand’s flagship store in Paris, using both fine and raw materials to represent the blend of street style and aristocratic elegance.
2) Now Here’s a #ThrowbackThursday For Ya
The box-like shape of the store pays homage to the boxes in which Hubert de Givenchy used to deliver his haute couture dresses. In fact, the Fall/Winter 2016 collections are presented in half-closed black lacquered boxes and the accessories are displayed on black podiums.
3) Those Uniforms Tho
Those of you working in retail may want to quit reading right now because this factoid just isn’t fair: The sales associates at Givenchy represent the brand from head to toe. Yep, this notion includes wearing a custom-designed uniform replete with Givenchy makeup and nail polish created by Tisci. Um, jealous!
4) But Is The Price Right?
Want to know the cost of the beautiful handbag on display? No need to search for a tag in the back pocket, the prices of various products are creatively displayed by mini gold magnetic beads sitting elegantly near the product.
