The Falls al fresco shopping mall is adding several new stores and eats to its stellar lineup. Can we get a, “YAS”?
YAS! A must-visit mall in Miami, The Falls is one of the largest open-air shopping, dining and entertainment attractions in the U.S. (YAS again!). It also features 821,000 square feet of retail space with more than 100 specialty stores such as Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Michael Kors, Williams-Sonoma, Abercrombie, Build-A-Bear Workshop, GAP, Victoria’s Secret, Hollister, BCBG, Bebe and Brookstone. Below we divulge 5 more reasons to visit the sprawling mall located down South.
1) Kicks 4 Kids
Just opened, have your kid show off some fancy footwork by scoring some sweet new kicks at this shop. Brimming with pediped shoes — a children’s brand which melds comfort with fashion — the collection is a celeb fave too. Just ask A-list mamas Sarah Jessica Parker, Charlize Theron and Jennifer Gardner. From first-time walkers to pros (ages 0 to 6 months to 10 years old), shoppers will love Kick 4 Kids’ selection of sparkly (or hold the sparkles) sandals, sneakers, rubber shoes and more.
2) Los Ranchos Steakhouse
Where’s the beef? At The Falls. Duh. Los Rancho Steakhouse just re-opened after moving into swanky new digs. The Latin American restaurant, best known for its deliciously tender and flavorful Churrasco steaks, is a fave haunt amongst locals and tourists alike.
3) Charming Charlie
Joining the mix this summer comes Charming Charlie. Popular for their on-trend accessories at sweet deals (Read: score of-the-moment chokers for $10). Scoop up jewelry, handbags, scarves, shoes and more at this adorably merchandised boutique.
4) Playlive Nation
Also coming this summer near you? Playlive Nation. The 411? Imagine a preem-o social gaming lounge for guests of all ages. Revelers can expect an extraordinary gaming experience — in a safe and clean ambience. Once open, Playlive Nation will offer E-Sports tournaments, birthday parties and special events. Score!
5) Hanna Andersson
Take your kid’s wardrobe from drab to fab (and organic, by the way) with a jaunt to Hannah Anderson which opens this summer. The Swede-based brand is revered for its precious prints, eco-friendly fabrics and durability.
