14 Street Style Looks at Miami Fashion Week that Show What’s Trending in the Magic City

Street Style Samples from Miami Fashion Week

The designers weren’t the only creative ones during this year’s Miami Fashion Week.

Though many of them – including Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Alvarno and Custo Barcelona – stunned with their impressive and unique collections on the runway, some of the street style also turned heads.

What was trending? For women, off-the- shoulder blouses and dresses, metallic platform heels, tassels out the wazoo and wide-legged or bellbottom pants. Basically, 1970’s meets 2016 in Miami.

Men are still rocking their comb-overs and longer hairstyles. There were also dapper dudes wearing colorful socks with dress shoes and suits with printed jackets. Others wore monotone styles of pants and shirts, adding spice with printed shoes or a pocket scarf.

Here are some looks and accessories that caught our eye:

Metallic shoes were trending throughout the event. I saw many girls wearing high platform silver shoes.

She perfectly played with the colors in her accessories. If you look closely, they all match the Frida Kahlo image on the shirt, but she toned it down by wearing a black pencil skirt.

She is wearing a dress from Dolce & Gabbana’s newest collection titled “Italia is Love” that she combines with colorful shoes and handbag that give the details on the dress more of a pop.

This clutch looked like one of Coco Chanel’s books and her accessories looked appropriate when carried with the clutch.

He took a suit and wore it with jeans, giving his outfit an appropriately dressy, yet casual, style.

He’s wearing a deep blue, opaque colored suit and pants, which gives the look a modern dapper vibe. His hairstyle is the trending combed-back style, and he’s wearing bright pink socks to give the look a little more edge.

Awesome clutch with the attached ring-handle to put your fingers in. Very Alexander McQueen.

She adds a pop to her outfit by wearing a printed cropped shirt. Her style has a modern-day 1950’s touch.

The jumper’s blush color, her hair style with straight bangs and that off-the-shoulder top work perfect together. She wore all neutral colors which made the outfit feminine and effortless.

The gold detailing on the clutch and the accessories make this a great example of how to dress up a white outfit. Laura Ponte Liquor 43 clutch with personal design.
