We saw plenty of engagements, break-ups and meltdowns in 2010. Here are some of our most memorable moments:

Charlie Sheen's New Year started with a split from new wife Brooke Mueller. Months later, he had a crazy fit in a NYC hotel. Here's hoping the dad of four gets it together in 2011.

Speaking of dads, Michael Lohan used daughter Lindsay Lohan's troubles as a chance to gain notoriety with the gossip mags. In a tacky move, he even got engaged to Star reporter Kate Major. As if poor Lilo doesn't have enough on the brain. She was jailed and went to rehab all in the same year.

Speaking of addiction, we were sad to hear of Corey Haim's death. The actor, who died in March, was another Hollywood star to fall victim to prescription drug addiction.

On a happier note, love was in the air for Katy Perry and Russell Brand who got hitched in India; Nicole Ritchie and Joel Madden, who married in the Big Apple and Harrison Ford who (finally) popped the question to Calista Flockhart.

We thought the Super Bowl was the biggest sports event of the year, then LeBron James announced he was going to take his ``talents to South Beach and join the Miami Heat.'' He put Miami on the map, but the guidos from Jersey Shore halted beach traffic with bar brawls and indecent acts when MTV's hit show filmed part deux on Miami Beach.

Will she or won't she? American Idol viewers wondered if Jennifer Lopez would join the show. She did, and in January, she'll co-host with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.

Speaking of guys with big mouths: Right after his split with Courteney Cox, David Arquette went on Howard Stern to rant about their (nonexistent) sex life, while John Mayer used a Playboy interview to divulge secrets of his intimate relations with Jessica Simpson. Jess didn't seem to mind, though: She was too busy making wedding plans with Eric Johnson. Is Johnson a smooth guy, or is he a scene stealer? He asked for her hand in marriage days after Jess' ex Nick Lachey propsed to Vanessa Minnillo.

Big girls don't cry. Just ask Miley Cyrus. This year, she graduated from pole-dancing to bong-smoking (the substance was salvia, she swears). In other music news, Miami's Little Monsters almost crashed the net scrambling to buy Lady Gaga tickets.

Kanye West's album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, was one of the best of the year so we'll forget about his Today Show run-in with Matt Lauer. We can only say that he needs a new PR team, for sure.

This year, we saw the rise and fall of an All American hero, Brett Favre. Unlike Tiger, the football champ managed to escape his sex scandal pretty much unscathed. Sure, he's out $50,000, but the tabloids left him alone.

America's Sweetheart Sandra Bullock wins our best story of the year award. Kudos to the Oscar winner for handling her divorce with grace only to resurface later to announce she was adopting a beautiful baby boy. Louis Bardo Bullock, you're one lucky guy.
