Sake master, Midori Roth, begins with an introduction to the traditions and history of sake followed by a lesson in sake pairings. Students are then treated to executive sushi chef, Shoyo Lida's history lesson on sushi and an in-depth instruction on the selecting and cutting of raw fish. Following the tutorial will be a hands-on opportunity to create a sushi roll of choice.
