Super Bowl Parties - No Access
Where do you think you're going? Here are The Top 5 Super Bowl Parties You Cannot Get Into.
1. ESPN Next Party at Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Friday, Feb. 5; 10 p.m.
While the SportsCenter anchors may be based on 8th and Ocean, ESPN is leaving its footprint behind the Fontainebleau hotel’s pools for the sixth installment of its Super Bowl party. The private event with a celebrity and athlete-loaded invite-only guest list of 1,200 will have a 1950’s Miami “Rat Pack” feel, complete with a glowing pink, Art Deco-style, 25,000 square foot structure with multi-viewing platforms that takes over nearly all of the back end of the resort. Ne-Yo is slated to perform, along with Keri Hilson, and Q-Tip will be manning the turntables.
2. The Big Give
Saturday, Feb. 6; 8 p.m.
Michael Bay, director of the Transformers movies, opens up his Miami Beach home (the same one Hulk Hogan used to call home) for the second annual Big Game Big Give/The Giving Back Fund. This charity event, hosted last year by Ashton Kutcher, will have an A-list celebrity guest list for a private 70-person dinner (think Will Smith, Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts). Yeah, we know you can score tickets at $1,000 per person, but that’s only good for the 350-person cocktail reception. Dinner will be the tougher invite.
3. Bud Light Hotel
Tuesday, Feb. 2 – Sunday, Feb. 7
Bud Light takes over the Surfcomber Hotel on South Beach (1711 Collins Ave.) and turns it into party central for Super Bowl week. GQ Magazine party one night. Usher concert another night. Jamie Foxx show the next. And there are bikini pool parties, UFC events and even a visit from Jimmy Tailgate to get ready for the Big Game. There are no tickets for sale and you can’t book a room there either. You can only win your way through Bud Light’s sweepstakes, or other media outlet promotions. Good luck.
4. Coors Light at Mansion
Friday, Feb. 5; 9 p.m.
Coors Light takes over Mansion nightclub and turns it into an ice cold party complete with a liver performance by legendary rapper Snoop Dogg. The party is not open to the public and tickets are not for sale. The last time the Super Bowl was in Miami, Snoop took the stage at Mansion but it was Penthouse throwing the shindig. One can only expect this party to be just as fun.
5. Maxim Magazine Party
Saturday Feb. 6; 10 p.m.
The premiere magazine party during Super Bowl weekend, Maxim will take over The Raleigh Hotel (1775 Collins Ave.) along with fellow sponsors Volkswagon, Samsung, Patron, Armani Code, Pepsi Max, BSN, Ubisoft & Gillette. The invitation only event attended last year by celebs and athletes alike will feature music by Jermaine Dupri and DJ Vice.
