Summer Fun at the W Fort Lauderdale

Just because I love to mix it up all over South Beach doesn’t mean I shy away from the Ft. Lauderdale area, in fact with the events lined up at the W Hotel I may just have to get a room and stay the whole week. The Gerber Group has come up with an impressive schedule that will have you eating, dancing, drinking, and getting wet all in one place.

The W Hotel is located along the beautiful beach giving 517 rooms a spectacular ocean view. Rise and shine to an amazing sunrise over the water or have a late night dip at the W Hotel pool and catch the sun set slowly in to the crystal clear blue water that sparkles under the amazing sky. The W Hotel has it all, whether having a cocktail in the W Living Room, indulging in a delicious cut of beef at the phenomenal STEAK 954 Restaurant, or socializing at the super chic Whiskey Blue; you’re guaranteed to have a fabulous time at the W.

Wednesdays is the premiere night for Gay Men and Women as the Gerber Group presents INDULGE at Whiskey Blue. This weekly party will feature a unique cocktail special every week so that partygoers can indulge their senses while listening to music by DJ Danny Stern. Thursdays it’s time for the ladies to have some fun. The Gerber Group presents Dollhouse Ladies Night at Whiskey Blue. Ladies can enjoy complimentary champagne all night and half off Three Olives cocktails while dancing the night away to music by DJ KidFresh. This will be the perfect getaway for women looking to have a spectacular night out and still keep it under budget. Dollhouse Thursdays kicks off at 9pm.

Fridays get the party started early with Happy Hour at Whiskey Blue starting at 6pm. There will be live music, half priced drinks, and a savory appetizer menu. At 9pm just because happy hour comes to an end, doesn’t mean the party has to; DJ Billy Gotti will be taking over the DJ booth to keep the party going all night long.

Sundays will be sizzling HOT at the W Hotel. Time to work it out and get that bikini body in check. Forget the beach, head to Salvation Sundays at the WET pool lounge set to launch in May, this poolside party will start at 12:30pm; It’s all about the pool parties in the summer. Salvation Sundays will feature Grey Goose Cocktails, Bacardi Mojitos, and a fabulous pool deck with sexy staff to get you through those steamy summer days. The Gerber Group has gone all out to create a fantastic summer schedule that will rival the hottest clubs and hotels on South Beach.
