The perfectly fitted hat! That violet colored hair! The kitty-printed top! I couldn’t help but fall in love with Miami local Ria Michelle’s wicked style. The online boutique owner, fashion blogger and stylist pulls off a zillion trends with finesse — when most would come off as one hot mess.

Age: 24

Profession: Online boutique owner of  filthymagic.com, fashion blogger at riamichelle.com, and fashion stylist.

Born and bred: Born in Trinidad and Tobago, raised in New Jersey.

Spotted at: Lorie Lester boutique opening.

The outfit: Urban Outfitters hat, Zara button-up blouse, Diesel skirt, Aldo Parrin heels, Aldo Balderston bucket bag, Rumba Time watch, Guess, Filthy Magic and Marc Jacobs accessories.

Where do you shop? “I'm an online shopper so I shop wherever I can get the best deal but I have favorites like shopbop.com and asos.com. But physical store wise, I love LF since they get Jeffrey Campbell exclusives. Any place that carries independent designers that aren't typical like Cheap Monday, Evil Twin, Mink Pink and Funktional I'm also a fan of. I also recently visited local designer Lorie Lester who I dig," Michelle says.

You've just inherited, $2,000 where are you spending it? “Definitely online — or maybe at Spanish Moss because they have such a wide array of independent designer brands. But I feel like I get the best deals shopping online,” she says.

Best shoe designer: “Jeffrey Campbell for affordable quality pieces, but Miu Miu and Alexander Wang are my high-end favorites right now,” she adds.

What one item are you eyeing to purchase for winter? “A really nice leather jacket with shearling would be fabulous,” Michelle says.

IT handbag designer: “I'm not really a big bag person, but I like Chloe bags and always finding myself wanting a Alexander Wang bag,” she says.

What is your closet staple? “Definitely be a hat or head accessory of some kind, it can really jazz up an outfit. Having a bad hair day? Running late? Throw on a hat and you look instantly chic,” she suggests.

What is the worst trend you ever trend? “When I was first starting high school, I tried to develop a look that wasn't my own. I tried to be that quintessential Abercrombie & Fitch preppy girl but it's just not me. The worst trend is definitely not staying true to yourself and trying to be an imitation of others,” she says.

Fave jewelry designer: “Pamela Love! As for stuff I can afford — Noir Jewelry and Made Her Think would have to be my favorites right now,” she shares.

What is the biggest fashion faux pas? “Waist belts over T-shirts. Like why are you wearing a belt with a tee? I don't get it. There's a specific way to wear a belt outside of belt loops and most people do it wrong and it drives me nuts. I really think it should be left alone,” she says.

Who is your style muse? “I don't think I have any one particular style muse, I draw inspiration from editorials, people on street and off-duty models with stellar personal style are always an inspiration like Abbey Lee Kershaw,” she adds.
