St. Sophia Greek Festival returns to Coral Way this weekend
35th annual St. Sophia Greek Festival
2401 SW Third Ave, Miami
11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 9pm Sunday.
Admission is $5 for adults, free for kids 12 and younger.

Saint Sophia Cathedral will host its 35th annual Greek Festival next weekend at the church, 2401 SW Third Ave. in the Roads.
The event starts Friday and continues through Sunday.
Food offerings will include mousaka (eggplant), pastitsio (Greek lasagna), spanokopita (spinach pie) and tyropita (cheese pie), lamb, gyros, souvlaki and Greek salads. Desserts will include Greek pastries such as baklava and honey-dipped loukoumades.
Greek dancers, ages 5 -18, will perform traditional folk dances. Arts and crafts will be available for sale, including clothing, jewelry, religious art and devotional items. Guided tours of the Byzantine cathedral will be offered each day, and there will be a children’s area with rides, games and other activities.
Festival hours are Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 9 p.m.
