I had lunch in this busy wonderful restaurant. I loved the atmosphere and the service was incredibly attentive. A bit too much oil on the food for me but all of the Tapas we ordered were tasty. It was the vibe in there that makes you want to come back again and again. It just felt incredibly chic.... Read more
5 stars. My wife and I loved our visit to Sra. Bernstein for the food, the decor, the vibe and the service. Our waiter was professional, personable and helpful as he knew the menu well. We enjoyed the calamari a la plancha, the pulpo, jamon serrano with fig marmalade, the perfectly cooked crispy long stem artichokes and the pimientas de padron. The wine list is excellent and affordable. Well worth many return visits. Michelle Berstein has outdone her own Michy's. 5 stars.... Read more
Service is awful. They made lots of mistakes and the most that the "manager" ex-waiter of Fratelly Leon had to say when we were leaving "sorry that you were disappointed". They could have done better; even a coffe as courtesy. We personally complaint on a Wendsday night (February 12/2009) since all the 9 dishes took for ever, not to mention desert times! then wait until someone gets you the check! very lousy. You might get one of the assistants cheffs to check on your table if you complaint, then you will never know if they put something on your food. BUT PLEASE MAKE YOUR OWN OPINION. ONE HAS TO CHECK HIS/HER OWN EYES TO HAVE YOUR OWN REVIEW. THUS, please give it a try so, they won't have to say that my credentials as a food critic are the reasons to hit them with a C- review.... Great food + great service = GREAT PLACE! Highly recommend the mushroom croquettas, the rabo encendido, the tuna, and the tortilla espanola. Can't wait to go back.... Read more

About

The vibe, décor, crowd, food and sensational upstairs bar at Michelle Bernstein’s tapas bar make It an only-in-Miami, just-add-sangria hit. The James Beard award-winner Bernstein and her husband, David Martinez, have created a fantastic venue. The lengthy menu is divided simply into Frio and Caliente but also includes a few entrees ($28-$32). Classics like pan con tomate and roasted piquillo peppers are admirably handled but the more inventive dishes blending Asian, Middle Eastern and Latin American flavors also have great results. There's an excellent all-Spanish wine list and decadent desserts including a platter of hot churros with cayenne spiked chocolate dipping sauce.
