Spring Fling Fashion Event in Coral Gables

Filomena Fernandez is the newest women's boutique to open in Coral Gables. Thursday, January 31 the store is hosting a Spring fashion event to preview their newest collection. The event starts at 6:30 PM. The shop sells women’s apparel that is inspired by Latin American and Asian cultures. Maritza Fernandez is the brainchild behind the label which is known for its laid-back and whimsical peasant-style blouses, modern wide-leg trousers, loose-fitting knits and dresses.  Many of her pieces feature a variety of embellishments from crochet to embroidery to pleats.
