It's a Halloween extravaganza at the MetroZoo, and you're invited.
Celebrate this spooky holiday with three events that take place on the grounds of the historical zoological garden in Miami, including Dr. Wilde’s Screamatorium, Spooky Zoo Night, and MetroBoo!
The Screamatorium, the zoo's first full scale haunted house, started on October 10th and runs through the 31st. It's 7,000 square feet of scary and it's only $5 - but you may not want to bring the kiddies.
Spooky Zoo Night takes place on October 30th from 7-11 p.m. and includes admission to the Screamatorium and the haunted house at Dr. Wilde's World. You'll also get to hitch a spooky tram ride, catch a scary movie, and pick up some "Thriller" dance lessons at the Aviary plaza. It's all followed by a costume parade.
Finally, at MetroBoo! on October 31st, families can take part in Halloween-day activities with Zoo admission. Kids age 12-and-under can trick-or-treat, make Halloween crafts, and watch wild animals get their Halloween goodies.
