The lowdown: With fall amongst us, now is the precise time for a new ‘do or hue. Make a trip to Snip for the most-wanted styles and colors of the moment. In business for seven years, the Miami Beach salon does it all — from head to toes.

“Snip is a full-service salon offering haircuts, color, organic custom facials, waxing, threading, manis, pedis, Minx nails and more,” Creative Director and Owner Riley McLachlan says.

The ‘hood: Nestled on 41st Street on the fringe of South Beach, Snip Salon calls The Forge its neighbor.

The vibe: “We believe the Snip experience is welcoming, professional, uncluttered and fun,” McLachlan says. A color scheme of reds, blacks and whites set a contemporary backdrop.

The highlights: The salon offers formaldehyde-free Keratin treatments made from apple pulp and vanillin (starting at $250), half-head of highlights ($165 and up) and haircuts (starting at $65). The salon boasts “Service industry Mondays” where anybody in the service industry can bring in their business card and receive a 20 percent discount on any service.
