Fall for the Arts
The Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald, and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts present the first Fall for the Arts Festival at the Arsht Center, a celebration that is free and open to the public on Sunday, September 12, from noon to 6 p.m. During the festival, the Arsht Center will be transformed into Miami's town square, creating an opportunity for the community to experience the collaboration between Miami's arts organizations and community service agencies. The event will feature two performance stages, a gathering of gourmet street food vendors presented by BurgerBeast.com, children's activities, and community service seminars. More than 150 non-profit arts organizations in Miami will showcase their schedule of activities for the upcoming season. In addition to performance information, the groups will also provide information on how the public can become more involved, either through volunteering or donating funds or resources.
Another bonus is that tickets to more than 30 Adrienne Arsht Center shows will be on sale during the festival, sans the pesky ticket fees! This official kickoff to the arts season in Miami is free to the organizations as well as to the visiting public. For more information, visit arshtcenter.org/fall.
