Seek culture at the James Royal Palm Hotel on South Beach
10/22/2012
The upcoming James Royal Palm Hotel is celebrating "Miami’s reputation as a burgeoning cultural hotbed" with the debut of its Cultural Collection. The South Beach Hotel is partnering with New World Symphony, YoungArts, MOCA and Public School to provide guests access to exclusive events, stage performances and experiences at the 2013 grand opening and create pieces for the property.
- MOCA will be permanently installing a piece by local artist Jorge Pantoja and provide hotel guests to MOCA shakers events.
- YoungArts will partner with The James in creating an outdoor canvas installation titled "Untitled" by Lucia Sanchez and her father Oliver
- Fashion designers Public School and their Miami-based collaborator Max Pierre will create all of the uniforms for hotel staff.
- The New World Symphony has curated a selection of works for the hotel and will stage specially composed performance at The James Royal Palm.
The James Royal Palm Hotel is scheduled to open in October 2012. Click here for info and reservations.
