Adorned with chandeliers, framed black-and-white portraits, mirrors and lace curtains, the charming little place on the Upper East Side is as pretty and gingerbready as an Old Country inn. Whimsical Bavarian paper dolls dance from a ceiling festooned with crepe-paper streamers.

I wrote a review before but it seems to have disappeared.
If you like German food this is the place to go. If you don't like German food - there are still plenty of excellent items on the menu. I highly recommend the Schnitzel Munich (I order this nearly every time I go - because I love it so much. However - I an my guests have never found fault or complaint with anything on the menu. The prices are very reasonable.
