The only tropical park botanical garden of its kind in the United States, the 35-acre public facility has more than 500 varieties of fruiits, vegetables, spices, herbs, nuts and other commercially important plant specimens from around the world. The park showcases 125 varieties of mango, 75 varieties of bananas, 70 bamboo varieties, and numerous other exotic edibles. Guided tours are available. Visitors are invited to munch at the tasting counter inside the park store. $5, $1.50 kids 6-12, free for kids 5 and under.
