One fish two fish redfish or should I just have the salad??? Needless to say your review was correct, as I went back to sample the "new" chef as the atmosphere has always been amazing-its the food and even more so the service that keeps all those parking spaces empty. Luckily enough I got to sample the Miami winter extended spice menu so that I wasnt left even more unsatisfied with my dinner...Starting off I had a rather bland crab cake appetiser with more sauces on a plate than a Romero Brito painting, followed by what was the standout of the meal (not even on Spice menu-but said what the heck as we wanted a salad and who can resist apples Pecans and spinach) and hey the dressing was pretty good as well-As far as the fish goes I ordered the Mahi and to say I have had better Mahi at Fridays is an understatement, I mean common chef we are in Miami here or were you transplanted from somewhere North where they have a different selection of fish that they can ruin as I didnt realize you could kill a fish twice...needless to say that while a fan of he decor with no liquor and decent food if at best you won't find this detective back anytime soon...... Awesome, one of a kind dining in Coral Gables on the ocean. Sophisticated crowd, elegant setting, great service, excellent food. This is a total winner. no valet with 500 parking spots right in front. Set on an atoll oceanside in a historic coral rock building. Best Mahi ever! Alex at the front of the house is superb! Red Fish Grill is an oasis in Miami's dining scene. I have been going there for many years and can say without a doubt that your review is out of date. The food is terrific and always fresh. The menu has changed over the last few years, due to the talented new chef. The service is welcoming and attentive. The ambiance is unparalleled. I am so surprised by your review of Red Fish. I had my wedding here and am also a frequent customer. Everytime, I have never been disapointed. The fish is always fresh and the service is great. I don't know how old this review is, because the menu descriptions do not match what they are currently serving. Perhaps you should revisit Red Fish and update. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!... Read more
Just unbelievable. Awesome service and the food was A+. Our server Brain was excellent and you have to try the Blackened dorado.
