Some lucky South Floridians get a three-day weekend as government offices are closed Friday for Veterans Day. The rest of us will have to pack all our free and cheap fun into two days.
It’s the second Saturday of the month, which means art walks in the Design District and Wynwood, with food trucks and all the associated hoopla.
Here are Miami on the Cheap’s top picks for free and cheap weekend fun Oct. Nov. 8-11.
See the auto show for less
The Miami International Auto Show runs Nov. 8-15 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. That gives you a chance to ogle all the new cars, including the 2015 Cadillac Escalade and the Maserati 2014 Ghibli sedan. Regular price is $12 for adults and $6 for children, but don’t head out without a coupon. In addition to a half-price deal from Miami Herald’s DealSaver, you can get $2 off with coupons from auto dealers or South Florida McDonald’s restaurants. Or, sign up for email updates at the auto show website, and they’ll send you a coupon via email.
