One of Miami's most popular spots to watch the fireworks on July 4, Bayfront Park plays host to America's Birthday Bash every year. The fun starts at 3 p.m. with the Kids' Zone, music, food and beverages. Later on enjoy the great view of the fireworks display over the Bay, which starts at 9 p.m.

2. Miami Beach
Miami Beach celebrates Independence Day with "Fire on the Fourth," a beach bash sponsored by Coca-Cola which includes a live performance jazz songstress Nicole Henry at 7 p.m. and the fireworks display at 9 p.m. Bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the show. There will be free shuttles to and from North Beach to South Beach throughout the evening.

3. Coral Gables
The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables hosts its annual Fireworks Spectacular starting at 4 p.m. with family fun activities then continuing with a performance by the Greater Miami Symphonic Band at 7 p.m. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

4. North Miami
Celebrate the Fourth of July at Florida International University's Biscayne Bay Campus on the grounds of the Koven Center with music, food, entertainment and the fireworks over Biscayne Bay at sundown. Bring blankets and lawn chairs.

5. Key Biscayne
Key Biscayne's Fourth of July bash includes a traditional parade with professional and homemade floats (the most creative gets a $1000 prize), music and fireworks. The parade runs along Crandon Boulevard starting at 11 a.m. followed by a picnic at Village Green and fireworks shooting off around 9 p.m.

Homestead-Miami Speedway hosts the annual "Race to the Fourth" festival and fireworks show from 6-10 p.m. with entertainment, food and music with a fireworks show at 9 p.m.
