The reality hottie got engaged Nov. 16 to NFL titan Chad Ochocinco
at his house in Cincinnati, where he plays with the Bengals.
The ring (from a Beverly Hills jeweler): a round, 10-carat rock with pave diamonds around the stone and band.
The couple don't have their wedding plans set, but the shindig will likely be in Miami, where Ochocinco is from and Lozada has lived since 2007.
``Chad is still playing football, and we kind of want things to calm down so we can focus on the next phase of our lives,'' says the Brooklyn native.
Lozada, who owns Coral Gables high-end shoe store Dulce, was overwhelmed by the media firestorm after the proposal.
``It's been a whirlwind,'' says Lozada, who used to be engaged to former Heat player Antoine Walker
. ``I didn't know so many people were interested in our personal lives.''
As for Season 2 of Wives
, which follows the lives of wives, girlfriends and exes of b-ball players in Miami, we'll see a few changes. The 10 episodes are now an hour long, and a few new drama queens have entered the fray.
Joining Lozada, Shaunie O'Neal, Jennifer Williams, Royce Reed, Suzie Ketcham
and Gloria Govan
are Tami Roman, Juli Richmond, Kimberli Russell
and Ashley Walker
Expect some combustion.
``When you get women together like this, what do you think?'' says Lozada, who often finds herself in the center of the spats. ``I'm one of those people who is pretty straightforward. I say what I want to say. It is what it is.''
