Cirque du Soleil returns to the Grand Chapiteau with Kooza.
The blue-and-yellow tent is going up again at Bicentennial Park downtown and Cirque du Soleil will set up residence in the Grand Capiteau starting November 12 for a limited time. They will present Kooza, the word inspired by the Sanskit word "koza," which means "box" - the idea being that the show is a "circus in a box." The show features the trademark Cirque du Soleil tradition of acrobatics and clowning.
Kooza runs November 12-January 2, shows shows Tuesdays-Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., Sundays 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Grand Chapiteau at Bicentennial Park, 1075 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. Tickets are $38.50-$230 at www.cirquedusoleil.com/kooza or 800-450-1480.
