Sloane Square Barbers & Shoppe Celebrates its official grand opening on Thursday, October 28th, 2010 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The lowdown: Don’t be fooled, men love to be pampered too. Consider recently opened Sloane Square Barbers & Shoppe as Miami’s only contemporary gentlemen’s sanctuary. A membership-focused club (starting at $56 a month), with non-member a la carte services as well, Sloane Square focuses on lavish haircuts, English style straight-razor shaves, beard trims, mini-facials and nail grooming.

The ‘hood: Situated on Alton Road, Sloane Square is at the center of locals-friendly Miami Beach.

The vibe: Think masculine and modern with some old-time charm thrown in. White-and-chocolate walls, sleek barber chairs and an array of Taschen books are on hand. European and Brazilian lounge music, satellite televisions and comfy leather chairs ooze a kick-back-and-relax ambience.

The highlights: C’mon get, natty with a Luxury Haircut ($26), Hot Lather Shave ($38) or Mini Facial ($44). Top-of-the-line goods by Anthony for Men, Amenity, Goldfaden, Redken for Men, B for Men and Marvis Toothpaste are also in store.

The founder says: "It's our goal to create an atmosphere and experience for our guests unlike any other out there," founder Todd Goldenfarb says.
