Clink: Drink Pink

Do you really need another pink t-shirt? This year, support the breast cancer cause the best way you know how: with alcohol.

If you're looking to support breast cancer awareness this year don't have to purchase yet another fuchsia matte lipstick or bubble gum-colored blender. All you have to do is visit a select group of Miami restaurants and order a signature pink-hued spirit. These local eateries are polishing their mixologist skills and showing some love to the cause by creating cocktails that, when purchased, will donate 10 to 50 percent of the proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Drink prices range from $8 to $16 at the 24 Miami restaurants participating in "Drink Pink." Here's a look at three unique cocktails, with recipes that'll have you whipping them up at your own pink-themed house party and looking at the world through rose-colored glasses.

D.I.Y. & F.Y.I.

Pink Popsicle Martini

Add 2 ounces of vanilla vodka and 2 ounces of passion fruit juice to a martini shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a watermelon popsicle stick.

Ginger Skyy

Add 2 ounces of Skyy Vodka, 1/2 ounces of triple sec, a splash of fresh ginger juice poached in port wine and a squeeze of one lime wedge to a cocktail tumbler filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a pink sugar rim.

Sparkling Pink Sangria

Muddle 4 fresh raspberries into the bottom of a large pitcher with sugar water. Add 1 bottle of pinot grigio, 6 ounces of sancerre rose or another pale rose wine, 3 ounces of Sprite, 2 ounces of peach schnapps, 2 ounces of triple sec, a dash of raspberry simple syrup, 2 ounces of cava (for sparkle) and a handful of fresh raspberries. Mix ingredients in the pitcher and refrigerate for a couple hours to allow the fruit to marinate. Pour into a large rocks glass filled with ice. Makes around four glasses.

Strawberry Chocolate Shortcake Martini

Add 1 ounce of stoli strawberry vodka, 1 ounce Godiva white chocolate liqueur, 1 ounce of Framboli strawberry liqueur, 1/2 ounce of Bailey's, 1/2 ounce of cream or half and half into a martini shaker filled with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a whole fresh strawberry.
