Pop culture lovers know that Patron has reached a certain amount of fame in the hip-hop/pop music world with the hit T.I. song, "Whatever you Like". With lyrics which croon at a lover that she can have all the fancy things in the world she desires such as "Patron on Ice", it's definitely quite the romantic slow jam. Yeah, yeah.
Of course the D.J. was going to play it! What are you kidding me? This is the Patron party, people! Things happen! Such as ice sculptures bearing the Patron name from which you could get yourself an icy shot. Patron on ice? Nah, try Patron sub-zeroed, baby!
Ok, maybe it's time to go home now. Once my husband and I stepped out, we had to dodge a stumbling duo of 50-something year-old guys holding drinks and singing T.I.'s hit for the door guys. One of the bouncers tried to keep a straight face as he told them they weren't allowed to step outside with their drinks inside plastic cups. The duo looked miffed, but stepped out of the way after stepping on my foot (ouch!) and letting my husband and I sneak by with our permitted beverage of exiting choice, bottled water. Time to go home and sleep before waking up nice and early to blog and check out the Grand Tasting Village. Wish me luck!
P.S. I'll keep the Patron on ice for you, I promise.

I thought of starting up an ice sculpture business last year. Glad I didn't at the time. Maybe next year.
