Pool parties, sunset parties, and plenty of classic mixes headline the weekend
From bowling to Samba, this week has plenty to offer. Start off with a little colorful bowling at Lucky Strike, dance on the sand at Nikki Beach, get lost in the music at the hottest clubs, and overlook the bay with dinner and live music at Bongo’s.
Wednesday, Sept. 19
Lucky Strike RainBowling

Lucky Strike holds its monthly Pride Party from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The night is dedicated to Miami’s gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community and will feature specialty $5 cocktails, discounted bowling, and music by the Miami Marlins DJ, DJ Vertigo.
Mansion presents Fedde Le Grand
1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach
Cirque de Mansion continues to rock with stellar DJs throwing it down on the turntables and this week the show continues with special guest Fedde Le Grand alongside Konflikt and N’dy. Dance to progressive and electro house beats such as “Just Trippin”, “Sparks”, and many more.
Doors open at 11 p.m., you must be 21+ to get in and dress code is trendy chic. This week Mansion has a great line-up featuring special guests such as John Digweed on Thursday, Japanese Popstars on Friday, and Sharam on Saturday. For tickets to these events click here.

Nikki Beach presents Sambadelic

Are you ready to Samba? Nikki Beach introduces its newest night - Sambadelic. Thursday night get ready for a little Brazilian experience with music by Batuke Samba Funk followed by DJ Marcelo to keep you dancing through the night. It all starts at 8 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 21
Sunset Fridays at the Mondrian
1100 West Ave., Miami Beach
The weekend has arrived, so shed those workday blues at the Mondrian South Beach for the return of Sunset Fridays. Indulge in specialty cocktails, delicious small plates and an amazing sunset view over the bay with a backdrop of music provided by DJs Patrick M and Brandon Rullan. Be there every Friday night from 7 p.m. - 1 a.m. and start your weekend right.
LIV presents Max Vengali
4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
Open the weekend with special guest Max Vangeli. Described by MTV as "One of the most promising artists for 2011," he has been rocking the decks all over the world and keeping people on their toes with upbeat progressive house tracks such as “People of the Night”, “Lost”, and “Bombs Over Capitals” to name just a few.
Doors open at 11 p.m., tickets are currently $75 in advance. Other events this week at LIV include Wednesday Dirty Hairy Rocks with Dainjazone, Thursday dance the night with Sander Van Doorn, Saturday welcome back Cedric Gervais, and Sunday close out the weekend with Ryan Leslie. Saturday, Sept. 22
WAKE UP! Pool Party at the National
1677 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
Just when you thought the pool party season was over, think again. This weekend head to the National Hotel on South Beach for the Wake Up Pool Party featuring music by DJs George Morel, Damian, Ronnie G, Ohashi, and more. Admission is free from from noon until 4 p.m. and the party goes until 9 p.m.
Classix to Hip Hop with Tom Laroc at Chalk
1234 Washington Ave., Miami Beach
After a day of fun in the sun, head to Chalk Ping Pong and Billiard Lounge for a night with Video DJ Tom Laroc. Play a little ping-pong, kick back your friends and dance to a mix of old school and new school hip-hop beats. It all starts at 10 p.m. Get there earlier (around 8 p.m.) and enjoy a night of Hair Raising Films, a hair show inspired by cinema and styled by aspiring hair stylists from Contesta Rock hair, Luxe Hair Spa, Paul Mitchell’s HiTech School and more. There will be hair braiding, hair styling, and if you’re feeling generous get a chop and donate you hair to Locks of Love. Donations of $10 at the door benefit Locks of Love and enjoy complimentary Chalktails from 10 p.m. - 11 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 23
Grand Opening of Super Sundays

Bongo’s has a new way to party. This Sunday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. enjoy the sounds of tribute band BeatleManiax while dining away on a delicious prix fixe menu ($35.95). Bongo’s is open on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and for reservations or questions, call 786-777-2100.
