With just a few weeks left before one of the biggest party nights of the year, I bet everyone is hitting the gym hardcore to get into the tiniest costumes for Halloween. To help you burn some extra calories I’ve picked out some of the hottest events that are guaranteed to have you shaking and grooving all through the night. Get your drinks in the air and dance like you don’t care - here are this weeks’ top party picks!
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 28
Pink Pussy Cat ice with Joe Maz at Mokai
235 23rd St., Miami Beach
Kick the week off at one of the sexiest lounges on the beach as Relapse Wednesdays at Mokai present Pink Pussy Cat Ice with special guest DJ Joe Maz and Alej Varez. You’ll be dancing to a hot mix of Disco-tech house and electro all night!
Must be 21+ to get in and dress code is trendy chic. For complimentary admission before 12:30am, make sure to get on the guest list.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 29
Audiofly at the Electric Pickle
2826 N. Miami Ave., Miami
Make your way over to the cool, trendy lounge in downtown for a special guest set by the DJ duo team of Luca Saporito and Anthony Middleton aka Audiofly. They blend styles to create a funk mix of electro, tech, and house to give you an upbeat unique sound. Downstairs you can jam out to DJ Benton & Basti and a live performance by Animal Tropical. For those on a budget, enjoy $3 drafts and $5 shot specials throughout the night.
Doors open at 10 p.m., must be 21+ to get in, and the dress code is trendy and fun.
DJ Erok at WALL
2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
For something a little more upscale, head to one of my favorite lounges on the beach- WALL at the W South Beach. This venue is small and intimate, but the crowd is always hype. This week DJ Erok is taking over as he returns to Miami after a two-month tour around the world. Dance to a mix of sexy house, soul, funk, reggae, rock and hip-hop that is sure to keep the party jumping all through the night.

DJ M.O.S at LIV

It’s Friday night and the weekend is here, so it’s time to turn up the energy and party like a rock star. Head over to LIV for a guest set by DJ M.O.S and rock out to some of the best hip-hop, r&b, rock, house, and electro mix on the beach at one of the most exclusive and wildest clubs around.
Doors open at 11:30 p.m. Dress to impress and you must be 21+ to get in. Table reservations are highly suggested. Admission is at the discretion of the doorman.
