Goodbye September, hello October! It’s my favorite month of the year with plenty of events to keep you entertained throughout the week. To get things moving in October we have the launch of Young Hearts Series at the Delano, performances by ARTY, Porter Robinson, and more! Here’s to a new month - let’s get to it!
Tuesday, Oct. 2
October Beer Tasting at Cervezas
5835 Sunset Drive, Miami
Kick off October with a night of beer and pizza at Cervezas in South Miami. The monthly beer tasting includes 15 flavors to quench your palettes including brands such as Bells Obregon, Shipyard Export, MOA Breakfast, The Eleven, and many more. In addition to the 15 brands of ale, pizza from Power Pizza will be available to keep you going through the night.
It all starts at 7pm.
Young Hearts Series
1685 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
Delano Tuesdays return this week as the pool is transformed in poolside club with DJ/Producers, Tiger and Woods. Get ready to shake and groove to Chicago house and techno sounds by residents Andrew Ward, Baby Sean, Bonnie Beats, and Inbal Lankry.

Thursday, Oct. 4
PAX presents Afro Kumbe
337 SW Eight St., Miami
Who wants to dance a little cumbia? Thursday night head to PAX for a night of electro and Latin sounds for a one-of-a-kind Colombian party featuring Afro Kumbe and Ephinko. Afro Kumbe, comprised of three members of the Grammy-nominated Locos Por Juanes, promise to rock the crowd out with an engaging electro and live music set that will have you dancing until 3 a.m. Doors open at 10 p.m.
Poseidon Back-to-Back Tour
4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
Porter Robinson takes over the decks at LIV alongside Zedd for the duo’s Back to Back Poseidon Tour with a special performance by Nick Thayer and opening set by Mednas. Dance to electro house and dubstep tracks such as “Vandalism,” “Spitfire” and “I’m On Fire”. Tickets are currently being sold at Wantickets.com ($50 for the guys, $40 for the ladies).
Doors open at 11 p.m., remember to dress to impress. Other events at LIV this week include Diplo on Wednesday, Jus Ske on Friday, and From Ibiza to Miami Welcome Home party with Erick Morillo
Friday, Oct. 5
Samuel Adams Octoberfest
1001 S. Miami Ave., Miami Beach
Kick off October at the two-day Samuel Adams Octoberfest in Brickell. The festival will feature more than 15 varieties of Samuel Adams beer, food from the local restaurants and bars, and music by some of Miami's favorite local DJs, along with live performances and more. It all starts on Friday and continues on Saturday. Be there from 4-11 p.m. each day and be part of Brickellfest.
Saturday, October 6th
Mansion presents Arty
1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach
Others Play House, We Play Mansion presents the Russian trance DJ/ Producer Arty alongside Laurent Simeca to rock the house and bring you chart-topping hits such as “Must Be Love,” “Twilight Tonight” and many more. It all starts at 11 p.m., dress code is trendy chic, and you must be 21+ to get in. Tickets are currently $30 in advance.
