So you can’t make it to Brazil for Carnival? No worries. Head to Mynt Lounge for the 10th Annual Brazilian Carnival celebration BATUCADA! There will be drummers, Carnival dancers, and some stellar entertainment to keep you dancing through the night. Enjoy a performance by Mano Santa, an afro-brazilian drumming fusion band alongside beats by DJ Rascal and Julian Ingrosso. Showtime Fridays with DJ John Cash

Start your weekend off at Jelsomino for Showtime Fridays. The super chic karaoke lounge is teaming up with John Cash and Ollie Sanders to get you rocking until the sun comes up. Red Bull Miami Thre3Style Contest
1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach
Also on the list for Friday is Red Bull Miami’s Thre3Style Regional DJ contest at Mansion. DJs will battle it out to showcase their skills for a chance to compete at the World Finals. Red Bull Thre3style has a creative and original format that seeks to find the DJ that has best perfected the true art of rockin’ the party. DJs Konflikt, DJ EU, DJ Rowshay, DJ Orig and DJ A-Rock will work it out for a panel of judges featuring Jazzy Jeff, A-Trak and Z-Trip. It all starts at 11 p.m. RSVP here.

Wish Upon A Star Charity Event

This weekend party for a cause at The News Lounge for a special Red Carpet event to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation. Each person will receive a complimentary gift with a $25 donation. DJs Laz Quintero and Chilly will keep the party going through the night. Help make a child’s wish come true. The Red Carpet Affair kicks off from 8-11 p.m.
AN21 at LIV

For something a little more upbeat make your way to LIV for a night with AN21 and dance to progressive and tech house beats with tracks like “Glow,” “Fresh Start” and “Nightfall” to name just a few. Dance alongside some of Miami’s finest at one of the hottest clubs on the beach.
Doors open at 11 p.m., dress code is strictly enforced. Other reasons to party at LIV this week include special guests W&W with Dyro on Thursday, and DJ Ruckus tearing it up on Friday.
