Hello there, February! While everyone else in the country is bundling up in the cold winter air, it’s nothing but clear skies and sunshine for us in South Florida. To get us ready for the fabulous pool parties we have some fantastic DJs in town to get us shaking and grooving.
THUSRDAY, FEB. 2
The 12th Planet, Craze, and more at Grand Central
697 North Miami Ave. Miami
Poplife Miami presents another great event to get your weekend going. Start the party hoping at Grand Central Mia and rock out with The 12th Planet for the End is Near Tour that will have you dancing all night. Other guests include legendary mix-master DJ Craze along with Flinch and JWLS. It’s going to be a great night of electro and indie house.

FRIDAY, FEB. 3
Steve Angello LIVE at LIV
4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
In prep for the upcoming take over of Haulover Beach, one of the hottest DJs is coming to Miami to give us a special treat and hold us off until March. Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia is taking over the decks with club-banging hits like “Open Your Eyes”, “Rave ‘N’ Roll”, and more.
Doors open at 11 p.m., dress code is trendy chic.
Other hot events at LIV this week include Danny Tenaglia on Thursday, Erick Morillo on Saturday, and DJ Khaled on Sunday. Admission for LIV events available here.
MAXIM’s Big Game Party at VIBE
301 East Las Olas Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale
Kicking off Super Bowl weekend, VIBE Ultra Music Lounge in Las Olas will be hosting MAXIM’s Big Game Party on Friday starting at 8 p.m. Guests can enjoy live entertainment and celebrity appearances including National Hometown Hottie, Dominique Storelli, and dance to the beats from The Duffle Bag Divas, Ricky Fatt, local favorite DJ Obscene, and many more. VIP tickets are on sale for $100 pre-sale and $150 at the door. VIP tickets include open bar all night and red carpet access.

Arkadia presents Jermain Dupri

Get ready to drop it like it’s hot on the dance floor as special guest, recording artist/DJ/producer Jermain Dupri throws down a set at Arkadia. I want to see you work it, twirk it, and get down low with some of Miami’s hottest party rockers.
Door opens at 11 p.m., dress code is strictly enforced, and you must be 21+ to get in.

Oscar G at Mansion

For my house music lovers, head to Mansion for another installment of legendary Oscar G’s Made in Miami set. It’s a new year and a fresh look for Mansion, so Oscar G promises to bring the house down with his spectacular mixing skills. Get ready to dance till you drop with fresh hits like “Fallin’”, “Fire”, “I’m Moving On”, and more.
