Opening This Week
Green Zone- Set during the U.S.-led occupation of Baghdad, Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller (Matt Damon) is certain that Saddam Hussein had been stockpiling weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and teams up with a senior CIA officer to find the evidence. In their efforts to uncover the truth, they must outwit one booby trap after the next and it seems that one elaborate cover up just leads to another more elaborate one. As Miller starts to realize that operatives on both sides of the conflict are attempting to spin the story in their favor, top-secret initiatives and faulty intelligence seem to entangle the truth deeper and deeper within bureaucratic red tape. Desperate to unearth the truth, Miller is confronted with his desire to take down the rogue regime and his fear of escalating the war in an already unstable region. Trailer
She's Out of My League- Nerdy, lanky, and stuck in a dead-end job as an airport security guard, the last thing Kirk (Jay Baruchel) expected was to get involved with Molly (Alice Eve), a drop-dead gorgeous powerhouse of a woman. As his friends and family watch in disbelief, Kirk scurries to keep Molly's affection. While even Kirk is baffled by her flattery, he soon learns that he'll have to work overtime to convince Molly that he is worth her time. Trailer
The Exploding Girl- On a summer break from college, Ivy (Zoe Kazan of Revolutionary Road) returns home to Brooklyn to stay with her family. While she misses her boyfriend deeply back at school, she never seems to be able to connect with him despite her frequent phone calls. In the meantime, she hangs out with her longtime friend, Al (Mark Rendall of 30 Days of Night), who clearly has been harboring a crush on her for years. Though Al has never done anything to show Ivy his feelings for her, the situation is exacerbated when, due to family circumstances, Al must stay with Ivy and her family for the summer. As the summer goes on, Ivy struggles to deal with her epilepsy and her flailing relationship, while Al starts to lose hope and look for love in other places. Trailer

The Last Tango in Paris- A fantastic medley of cinematic art with unrepressed sexuality, The Last Tango in Paris, is a contemporary masterpiece.
