You can drink a cappuccino with your friends and savor a good tiramisu, but at Segafredo you can also get your groove on with their music, clientele and great location. Now, in the heart of Brickell, the traditional Italian café recently opened with it their lounge Spazio Nero.

The new lounge takes advantage of the Downtown/Brickell boom and brings its neighbors, most of them young executives, a place to relax, have a few drinks after work and warm up their engines for a party night.

Located inside the same venue as Spazio Nero, an afternoon coffee could become an all-night endeavor, because after driking an Italian style coffee and trying some of the light menu items -- salads, hors d'œuvres, sandwiches -- the party could last until dawn on the terrace, which shares the stage with the busy streets of the financial area, or in Spazio Nero, a small lounge with good music courtesy of local and international DJs. Attractive waiters and bartenders also add to the energy of the night.

The décor of this 10,000-square-foot-plus venue is a fusion of classical and modern, with antique tables and chairs accented with contemporary metallic appliqués. A red and black color palate compliments the warm and chic atmosphere, typical in all Segafredo branches. Black and white pictures hang above an enormous L-shaped bar, where thirsty patrons can order from an extensive cocktail list, which includes everything from Tequila Sunrises to caipirinhas to house signatures like the Segafredo Long Island Ice Tea.

"Our concept is that of a stylized café lounge with great energy and the necessary comforts so that our clients can enjoy good music and relax over a cup of coffee or a good cocktail,” said Segafredo copropietor Alejandro Ferllen. “This was what Downtown was missing."
