Oasis Collections Offers Alternative to a Hotel in Miami & Latin America
Condo vacation rentals just got a little more stylish (and personalized) with Argentina-based Oasis Collections
For travelers seeking more than a hotel room on their next trip to Miami, Oasis Collections offers an inventory of over 50 condos in some of the most desirable locations and buildings in the city. Their selective portfolio of high design, luxury properties can be rented daily, weekly and monthly, as well as long term with corporate travelers in mind. Oasis fosters personalized hospitality through their services, which includes an exclusive (and well-edited) city guide, personal check-in/check-out, concierge and a welcome amenity that includes goodies like sunscreen, a complimentary class at Green Monkey Yoga and Coconut Cartel coconut water.
The Buenos Aires-based company was founded in 2009, and manages over 800 properties throughout Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Miami and Costa Rica. They’ve also got a couple of boutique hotel clubhouses (in a similar vein to Soho House) in Buenos Aires, Jose Ignacio, Uruguay and coming soon to Rio de Janeiro, offering accommodations, memberships and exclusive cultural programming.
Oasis launched in Miami in December 2013 as its first stake in the United States with plans to expand to other major cities here. Most recently, they launched a collection of properties in Costa Rica.
In Miami, their properties can be found in South Beach, Miami Beach, Brickell, Downtown, Midtown and Wynwood, and range in price and space from studios in Brickell for as little as $160 per night ($900 per week, $3,200 per month) to eight bedroom manors in La Gorce for $7,000 per night ($40,000 per week, $90,000 per month). They’re constantly expanding and welcome property referrals to include in their portfolio.
Their easy to navigate website offers images of each property, map location, amenities, rates and a calendar of availability. As with most hotels, rates fluctuate based on the time of year and special events.
With properties like a two-bedroom penthouse in Artecity in South Beach’s Collins Park neighborhood, which comfortably sleeps four for $3,250 per week, it’s possible for a family to save significantly when compared to nightly hotel rates in the area, such as W South Beach and The Setai. The Artecity property features a full kitchen, private balcony and rooftop terrace with Jacuzzi, and a swimming pool and gym onsite.
“The beauty of Oasis is that it caters to multiple audiences,” says Parker Stanberry, Founder & CEO. “Whether it’s the space and privacy not available with a standard hotel room or the in-destination concierge and hotel-like amenities that other condo rental companies lack, I like to think we are the perfect mix of both--boutique hotel meets luxury rental.”
If your travel plans lead you to Miami, or if you live here and are expecting visitors, Oasis Collections may offer just the accommodation solution you’re looking for. Better yet, why not plan an escape to one of their Latin America cities where you can rent a condo and live like a local—a very stylish, plugged in local, at that.
