I loveeee Purdy Lounge; been going there for quite sometime and everytime is only fun fun fun. The crowd is laid back, the music is great and the drinks are cheap. It's a great cozy lil hang out that never dissapoints me. I like the fact that is somewhat hidden in the beach...I would surely recommend it.... Read more

this place is fun and it gets fuller as the night goes on. and to all the ladys some jerk grabbed a friends butt and the bouncer threw the drunk out. so even thought it looks like things can get ruff they got your back not your back-side.... Read more

The Purdy is located a mile or so from the glamorous trappings of South Beach, though it may as well be light years attitudinally. Lava lamps cast a dim, cozy spell, and electricity is generated onstage with eclectic live music offerings including reggae nights on Monday ($3 Yes I beers, if your arm needs twisting) and Wednesday-night jams featuring acts like the Spam Allstars and Los Super Amigos. DJs supply "Music For Your Mama" on Fridays and Saturdays, and pool tables and board games are available if you need to hone your physical or mental acuity.
