Scene in the Tropics

Wilmer Valderrama was at O Asian Grill on Thursday night, where he ordered, according to a source, "the entire menu" before going downstairs to do "tequila shots at the bar with [co-owner] Eric Levin." Valderrama was then spotted at SET, as was Janet Jackson's man, Jermaine Dupri. Valderrama and Dupri left SET and hit Mansion, where they sat together by the DJ booth grooving to the tunes.

Speaking of Jackson and Dupri, we hear they're looking to stay in Miami Beach. A source close to the couple says they are near a decision on a multimillion-dollar waterfront mansion in a tony North Miami Beach neighborhood.

But wait! That's not all. We know Janet Jackson and Madonna aren't exactly best pals or even MySpace friends, but word is that after Jackson decided to lay down some roots in Miami after laying down tracks here, Madonna has decided to do the same. Maybe they'll be neighbors. A source has told us that Madonna is looking to buy a house again in South Florida -- but not on a public street, as she did in Coconut Grove circa 1995. This time she's eyeing mansions in Golden Beach and Miami Beach, where she plans to work on, yes, her new album. Source says Mrs. Ritchie intends to bring her entire family to live with her while she records with Justin Timberlake.

Sting and his wife Trudie Styler were spotted dining a deux at Pearl on Sunday night. The couple feasted on grouper ceviche, crusted Ivory salmon and mahi mahi. Sting also had the signature Ten Cane Luxury Mojito while Styler sipped on Sauvignon Blanc.

Comedian Tommy Davidson hosted a party at Morton's The Steakhouse in North Miami Beach for former Miami Dolphins running back Terry Kirby's second Touchdowns4Life Charity Golf Classic. Among the former and current NFL players at the event: New York Giant Lawrence Taylor, 49er Roy Barker, Buffalo Bill Cornelius Bennett, New Orleans Saint Ki-Jana Carter, and Dolphin/Green Bay Packer Jeff Dellenbach.
