The indie-centric Wallflower marches to its own beat, not the steady pounding of construction machinery in its downtown Miami neighborhood. Owned by the one-named Flash, who calls himself the gallery's "funkfinder," the Wallflower not only sells works by local artists but also makes space for a wide range of local bands for weekend all-ages shows (though you won't get any alcoholic beverages, there are plenty of juices and snacks on sale to get you through the night). There's also a weekly indie film night and monthly open-mic poetry night, and a "Holistic Happy Hour" on Fridays offers massages, Xango juice and other therapeutic outlets if all that condo development has you stressed.
