Saturday at 2 p.m., the Miami Beach Cinematheque screens director Francis Ford Coppola's acclaimed 1974 film The Conversation.
The painfully slow-burn film stars Gene Hackman as a surveillance expert who gets involved with one of his cases and the watcher becomes the watched. See the trailer above.
After the film, as if by magic, the director, Coppola himself, will appear live via webcast for a Q&A. Coppola's appearance at the Colony a couple years ago was a sell-out success, so if you are amped to see him, get there early as seating is extremely limited.
