It’s been an amazing year but it’s time to say farewell with an amazing celebration. This year there have been many new additions to the nightlife scene in Miami and plenty of events to choose from, but after going through the numerous lists these are the top parties to be at to ring in the New Year!
Red Bull Soundclash at Bayfront Park
301 N. Biscayne Blvd., Miami
Bayfront Park teams up with Red Bull to present the Red Bull Soundclash. How it works is this: The show features two bands with different music styles facing off on two stages positioned on opposite ends of the venue with the audience in the middle. The bands aren't battling, instead they collaborate to create an innovative live music performance. This year features Ludacris opposite Mike Posner. The show leads up to the famous "Big Orange" slowly ascending the side of the InterContinental Hotel. At midnight the fireworks display begins over Biscayne Bay. Gates open at 7 p.m., the show starts at 8 p.m., and the fireworks are at midnight. Admission is free. No bottles, cans, coolers, or personal fireworks can be brought into the park. Orange Drive Miami Beach Music Festival

The Orange Drive Miami Beach Music Festival is a three-day party with a diverse lineup of A-list musical guests with something for everyone, starting with the fabulously flamboyant Cee Lo Green, along with Jermaine Dupri, Pete Wentz, Boys II Men, DJ Irie, Samantha Ronson and more. Lauren Hill at The Shelborne

Hip hop royalty Lauren Hill performs at the New Year's Eve festivities at The Shelborne Hotel. DJs Berrie, Drek Martinez and DL spin. King Mango Strut
Commodore Plaza and Main Highway, Coconut Grove
Miami gets a chance to let its freak flag wave every Dec. 31 at the King Mango Strut, a spoof of the Orange Bowl Parade with a cast of characters mocking all the strange and hilarious events of the past year. This years theme: Occupy the Grove, complete with pseudo-protestors, pickapeppa spray and plenty of cardboard signs. The Grand Marshall will be Zoo Miami's Communications Director Ron Magill. The parade starts at 2 p.m. at the corner of Commodore Plaza and Main Hwy in Coconut Grove.
EC Twins at SET
320 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach
Ring in 2012 with a British Invasion by the hot DJ Duo team of the EC Twins at SET Miami for a night of sexy house, high fashion, and glamour galore. The iconic duo will take over SET’s turntables as jetsetters and VIPs alike ring in 2012. A NYE to Remember at Mansion

Known for annually hosting one of the biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations in Miami, Mansion Miami rings in 2012 with a larger than life celebration featuring multiple open bars, a complimentary champagne toast, midnight light show and table packages for parties of all sizes. Although the special guest has yet to be announced, this party is definitely worth putting on the list.
