Booties with fabric used by NASA and a new spin on the Adidas shoe are part of the collection.

It might seem months away for Y-3's Fall collection to launch in Miami this August, but in the fashion world it's all about being ready to shop. The new footwear line is already stirring up some excitement as it fuses W-181 heat-trapping fabric once used by NASA with ethnic styled details.
The hot sellers predicted will be the sculpted booties which are available in gray suede for women, combat boots with built-in convertible suede legwarmers for men and the new spin on the classic adidas shell-toe shoe which features a “flame” motif. “There is poetry and elegance to the way nomads dress,” said Designer Yohji Yamamoto. “I wanted to capture that feeling and make it modern.”
