For Miamian's who think they can muddle, shake and pour with the best of 'em, SUSHISAMBA dromo and Leblon cachaca have partnered in a search to find Miami's strongest mixologist. The Ultimate Cocktail Competition will take place in collaboration with July's "Cocktail Month," a part of SUSHISAMBA's nationwide 10 Year Anniversary monthly-theme countdown. Only 20 local aspiring mixologists can sign-up for a chance to create this summer's most creative concoction with the winning potion becoming the official Sambatini at the Miami outpost for the month of August. Each contestant will receive 10 ingredients plus Leblon cachaca with 15 minutes to come up with a perfect cocktail. The four-person judging panel of libation experts, including Jay Law, Master Mixologist of The One Group, will select the top five cocktails that will move to round 2. In round 2 the five remaining contestants will receive another set of fresh ingredients; there will be one secret ingredient that must be used by all. Prizes include $500 gift certificate to SUSHISAMBA, Leblon gift basket and more.
