Perhaps mom is over perfume and homemade cards for Mother’s Day. Here are some things you can do with mom that will rock her world.
The Venetian Lady Cruise
The Venetian Lady yacht hosts two Mother’s Day cruises, one boarding at 10:30 a.m. and one at 3:30 p.m. The cruise will navigate the clear blue waters around the beautiful Biscayne Bay. The yacht features three grand decks, 2 full bars, 2 dance floors, and state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment. Both cruises include an unlimited buffet and all the Bloody Marys, mimosas, beer, wine, juices, coffee and tea you can handle. The early cruise offers a cash bar for liquor, the later cruise includes premium liquors with the cost of admission. The 11:30 a.m. boarding is $85 for adults; $42.95 for children. The 3:30 p.m. boarding is $95 for adults, $42.95 for children.

Brunch at Nikki Beach
Skip the flowers and breakfast in bed and head to Nikki Beach instead for their infamous Sunday Brunch for your favorite lady, from the award-winning buffet to the sultry scene on the sand. You can reserve a secluded table in the tree-lined garden area or treat her to the full Nikki Beach experience beach side and indulge with classics like French toast and made-to-order omelets, to sushi and cuts of prime rib. A complimentary Bellini is available to Nikki VIP cardholders with the purchase of brunch. Mom’s will also enjoy complimentary beach side massages courtesy of Shin Wellness.

Billie Swamp Safari
Adventurous moms can enjoy a complimentary Day Package that includes an airboat ride and swamp buggy eco-tour through 2200 acres of untamed Everglades with abundant native and exotic wildlife, and choice of a show, which most likely involves a man putting his head in a gator’s mouth. All you have to do is bring one paying child, but if you have multiple little ones and grandma tags along, she can get the deal as well.

Museum of Art-Fort Lauderdale
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., all mothers are invited for a free day at the Museum of Art - Fort Lauderdale to enjoy the brand new exhibition 'With You I Want to Live'. In addition, the Museum’s Café and Wine Bar will offer 2-for-1 drinks (mimosas, fine wines and gourmet coffee drinks). At 2 p.m. there is a docent-led tour of the exhibit.

Mother's Day at Miami Seaquarium will give Mom the chance to slip into a wet suit and meet the dolphins at Dolphin Harbor, then enjoy a champagne brunch with family. The Mother's Day Dolphin Encounter and Brunch is $159 plus tax per participant, for children 5 - 9 the cost is $119 plus tax. Adult family members wishing to observe the dolphin session can just have the brunch for $70 plus tax and kids can just brunch for $65 plus tax for ages 3 - 9. Availability is limited and advance reservations are required.

1 Bleu Mother's Day Menu
1 Bleu offers a five-course fixed-price menu by chef Mark Militello. Reception begins with a glass of champagne along with sounds of a string trio. Food options include potato leek soup with pumpkin flowers, jumbo lump crab cake with smoked pepper butter, wild mushroom risotto with Parmesan and crispy pancetta, goat cheese stuffed lamb loin and Maine halibut with artichoke potato hash. Pastry table features a variety of decadent offerings. The menu is available from noon until 9 p.m. The cost is $75 per person, $25 for kids 3 to 12.
